🦜🐦Bird of the Year🐦🦜

Malo e lelei Bloggers♛ Today, I finished my Bird of the year slide. In this slide, we had to choose a bird from the Bird of the year website and then write its scientific name, Maori name and English name. On the next slide you had to write the reason you choose that bird. I choose an Rock Wren or as most would say a Pīwauwau. A Pīwauwau is a very beautiful and unique bird. Well what are you waiting for? Go and find out why I choose the Pīwauwau! Oh, have a great day:)

  1. Malo e lelei Dayelle. Thank you for sharing your work with us. The Piwauwau is a beautiful coloured bird that is almost tailless and prefers to hop and run on its long legs, and uses its rounded wings to fly only short distances. Did you know that the Piwauwau once lived in the North Island? Have a great day.

    1. Talofa lava Ms Tuipulotu, thank you very much for commenting on my blog!
You have done a wonderful description on the Piwauwau, and I actually never knew that they used to live in the North Island! Why did they move to the South Island? Have a ✨amazing✨ day.
